No Spam Policy
MLO Networks (Company, we, us, or our) maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding unsolicited commercial electronic messages, deceptive advertising, and automated bulk messaging (Spam). This No Spam Policy applies to all participants, registered loan officers, local business partners, and website visitors utilizing our directory platform and communications infrastructure.
1. CAN-SPAM Act & Communication Compliance
All communications initiated through or in connection with MLO Networks must comply fully with the federal Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and applicable state marketing laws. Specifically, all commercial communications must:
- Accurately identify the sender in header and transmission information.
- Use truthful, non-deceptive subject lines and headlines.
- Clearly identify the communication as an advertisement or promotional offer where applicable.
- Include a valid physical postal address for the sender or participating business entity.
- Provide a clear, conspicuous, and functioning opt-out mechanism allowing recipients to unsubscribe from future messages.
2. Prohibition of Automated Scraping and Harvesting
The harvesting, automated collection, scraping, or extraction of email addresses, phone numbers, or contact information from the MLO Networks directory is strictly prohibited. Users and automated systems may not compile directory listings to generate unsolicited mailing lists, robocall databases, or commercial SMS campaigns.
3. Direct Inquiry & Lead Communications
When a local business submits a free ad request or inquiry through our platform, they provide express consent to be contacted directly by MLO Networks and the assigned licensed Mortgage Loan Originator regarding their specific listing, directory formatting, and community networking opportunities. MLO Networks does not sell, lease, or distribute lead contact details to unrelated third-party marketers.
4. Loan Officer Outreach Standards
Subscribing loan officers using MLO Networks co-marketing tools agree to communicate with local business owners in a professional, compliant, and transparent manner. Loan officers must honor all consumer opt-out requests promptly and refrain from sending repetitive, unapproved bulk communications.
5. Enforcement & Account Termination
MLO Networks monitors platform activity and investigates all spam complaints. Any participating member or user found to be utilizing our directory, domains, or infrastructure to transmit spam, fraudulent materials, or unauthorized solicitations will face immediate suspension or termination of their account without refund, and may be subject to legal remedies.
6. Reporting Spam
If you have received an unsolicited or suspicious message that appears to originate from MLO Networks or references our platform, please forward the complete message headers to support@mlonetworks.com for immediate review and enforcement.
